1.       In media broadcasting, what is an ident?
Media idents is sort for ‘identifier’ and are reminders to what you are watching or listening to, such as BBC, Channel 4 and radio stations, they are visual or sound recordings.

2.       Why do broadcasters use idents?
Broadcasters use idents to remind the audience what they are watching or listening to.
